How I know the World will be saved by the 21st Century Woman.

Ambitious Women like you, the established entrepreneur who gave up a career to be a caregiver, and in turn cultivated your own future by building a business.

But you are not quite there yet.

You have taken all the courses, followed the successful coaches, created a new program or course. But it doesn’t seem enough. There seems to be a cap on your success. You know that you are made for more, but you are still not having the impact you desire.

I know, I've been there.

When I made the decision to have children, little did I know the impact it would have on my own sense of identity and values. Naively, I thought that having a successful career and being a great Mum who had the freedom to choose to go to all the school events, rather than cherry-pick them, was possible - especially in the 21st Century!

When I realised it wasn't and handed in my notice on a 15-year career in Education, with no next step, I knew it was a risk.

I didn’t realise the impact that would have on my self-esteem - how much my career had imprinted on my sense of purpose.

So, I did what it takes, assessed my skills, I set up my business, took all the courses and became fully booked with clients.I felt I became whole, found my true adult self and realised my purpose in life.

But the conflict came back in a new way.

Listening to all the guru’s- being passionate about my business meant working all the hours to become successful. Working with high profile clients I felt like an employee again, with little control over the hours I worked and limiting the impact on the world I wanted to make. I could hire a team but that wasn’t the type of business I wanted. It became too much. I was unhappy that I was falling into the same pattern. I was losing my sense of purpose. I wanted the risk that I had taken to pay off and I felt like I was failing.

I had a choice.

I could go back to teaching, and back to working all the hours, feeling a sense of purpose still but not spending quality time with my kids.

Or, step it up and discover a different way of working- on my terms.

I looked within. It was difficult and I used everything I knew to get there. Suddenly I realised it was about putting myself in charge and focusing on the whole of my business- not just the sales and marketing. As a result, I felt a real joy working in my business, serving my purpose and feeling the success I wanted to be. I became the CEO of my business and my life.

This is not uncommon. It's just not many share their story.

As a Certified Online Business Manager, I stepped into 6 and 7 figure businesses to help them untangle the chaos that the lack of knowledge and purpose led to. This has given me real hands-on experience into future-proofing online businesses in this fast-paced, ever-changing world.

It has also made me realise how Women are leading the way. By running businesses from home, we can not only be around for our children, but it can improve our lifestyle. Less car journeys, less suits for the office, more time to exercise, better for our mental health.

So, by Women stepping up and taking a risk we are going to save the world. One business at a time.
